A hard shot 6 in the game by Marciano Rico from a close distance when the talented Reynaldo Chumo managed to make a qualified save. Naranjito's players were relieved. Naranjito's Reynaldo Chumo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jairo Peruxu in the 8th minute of play. Naranjito's Jonas Blai pulled a muscle in his leg after 11 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Silverio Alvarez fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Caleufú FC's protests and gave Silverio Alvarez a yellow card for diving instead. 11 minutes into the game, one of Caleufú FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. If Jairo Peruxu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carmelo Gasteiz's late challenge caught a Naranjito's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Carmelo Gasteiz helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Caleufú FC booed when Naranjito was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tadeo Sabin didn't get a good kick on the ball. 24 minutes into the match, Naranjito's goal looked a bit too open when Jairo Peruxu came free, but Reynaldo Chumo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Caleufú FC defense, Nemesio Tabor kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcos Misael. The Caleufú FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcos Misael should have stopped the shot. Marcos Misael didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nemesio Tabor went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. In the 46th match minute, Naranjito was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zacarias Quexal to maneuver through the defense. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Nemesio Tabor made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Caleufú FC booed when Naranjito was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gabriel Kepa didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Marciano Rico managed to get in a good position for a shot. Caleufú FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Marciano Rico was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Reynaldo Chumo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 64th match minute, Naranjito was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rene Claus to maneuver through the defense. 67 minutes into the match, Marciano Rico notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Naranjito's Reynaldo Chumo. Reynaldo Chumo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Reynaldo Chumo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jairo Peruxu in the 71st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Naranjito's Edgard Tercero got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Reynaldo Chumo came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Caleufú FC's Marciano Rico. But to his dismay, Marciano Rico quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Nemesio Tabor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Marcos Misael tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 80 minutes into the match, Naranjito's goal looked a bit too open when Marciano Rico came free, but Reynaldo Chumo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Naranjito's Edgard Tercero got a free kick in the 81st minute. Caleufú FC's Jairo Peruxu got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Naranjito's Reynaldo Chumo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jairo Peruxu in the 94th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Naranjito's zone, Marciano Rico stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Reynaldo Chumo came out of the goal and Marciano Rico tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Naranjito eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
