Vinicio Firme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julian Su having to interfere. Santos Gaur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Club Atletico Bolívar booed when Amaná Futbol Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luisito Berasko didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 22nd match minute, Club Atletico Bolívar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfred Chlebek to maneuver through the defense. Luisito Berasko could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Froilan Indar made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Club Atletico Bolívar's zone, Aquilino Cebrian stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Froilan Indar came out of the goal and Aquilino Cebrian tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Julian Su showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfred Chlebek, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Alfred Chlebek blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julian Su having to make a save. Vinicio Firme recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tiburcio Ibar hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. When Santos Gaur came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Amaná Futbol Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Santos Gaur couldn't finish the play. Santos Gaur charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Santos Gaur the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 45th match minute, Amaná Futbol Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santos Gaur to maneuver through the defense. After the first half Club Atletico Bolívar were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vinicio Firme to make the kick off. Santos Misael hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. After 59 minutes, Luisito Berasko mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Amaná Futbol Club and the Club Atletico Bolívar players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Amaná Futbol Club getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Luisito Berasko hit a great ball. Guillermo Bernebe hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. In the 68th minute, Santos Gaur got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 75th match minute, Amaná Futbol Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elias Feo to maneuver through the defense. In the 78th minute Vinicio Firme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julian Su saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Froilan Indar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luisito Berasko in the 81st minute of the match. When Vinicio Firme came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Club Atletico Bolívar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vinicio Firme couldn't finish the play. In the 91st minute of the match Gaspar Tab shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Froilan Indar showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Club Atletico Bolívar's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
