The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cecilio Neron stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Evaristo Cisco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Cumbita's Arnaldo Fernandes got control of the ball when Anier Acevedo tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 55 minutes, Adolfo Oihenarte managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cumbita's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adolfo Oihenarte was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Arnaldo Fernandes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evaristo Cisco in the 59th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Oscar Vincent during the 60th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Narciso Evarado got free with Arnaldo Fernandes in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cecilio Neron received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Arnaldo Fernandes came out and tried to block the shot, but Cecilio Neron slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 86th minute. Arnaldo Fernandes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evaristo Cisco, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Arnaldo Fernandes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cecilio Neron, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Narciso Evarado scored 0-5 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arnaldo Fernandes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Nojiren FC played a much better game than Cumbita and deserved their victory. The Cumbita players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
