The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leonardo Messi during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 13 minutes into the game, Benigno Socorro recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of 何傲卫. Benigno Socorro showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. If Isidro Sabin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Cumbita defense, Luisito Gelacio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arnaldo Fernandes. The Cumbita fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arnaldo Fernandes should have stopped the shot. If Isidro Sabin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Urtungo Araoz in the 25th minute of play forced Cumbita's goalkeeper Arnaldo Fernandes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27th minute, Arturo Ignatius made a precise shot to the right of Arnaldo Fernandes. Cumbita's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. Isidro Sabin kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Arnaldo Fernandes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Urtungo Araoz in the 32nd minute of play. In the 35th minute, Urtungo Araoz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arnaldo Fernandes was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-5. 39 minutes into the match, Cumbita's goal looked a bit too open when Leonardo Messi came free, but Arnaldo Fernandes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luisito Gelacio took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arnaldo Fernandes. Arnaldo Fernandes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-6. Arnaldo Fernandes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Urtungo Araoz in the 45th minute of the match. The Cumbita players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Atlético Obelisco were winning 1-6.

With a little luck, Cumbita's Arnaldo Fernandes got control of the ball when Urtungo Araoz tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Osvaldo Grillo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Arnaldo Fernandes. That made the score 1-7 in the 54 minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luisito Gelacio in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arnaldo Fernandes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Arnaldo Fernandes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Osvaldo Grillo in the 65th minute of play. After 67 minutes of play, Atlético Obelisco's Arturo Ignatius made it 1-8 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arnaldo Fernandes was left in no man's land by his defense there! Arnaldo Fernandes was out of position in the 71 minute of play, and Luisito Gelacio capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Luisito Gelacio really showed his touch with that goal: 1-9. Victorio Havier's late challenge caught a Atlético Obelisco's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Victorio Havier helped the player get up and apologised. Victorio Havier kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. When Cumbita's Adolfo Oihenarte in the 79th minute got a chance for a shot 79th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Atlético Obelisco's goalie prevented a goal. Atlético Obelisco's 何傲卫 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benigno Socorro in the 81st minute of play. With his leg Arnaldo Fernandes managed to avoid a goal in the 84thth minute, when Atlético Obelisco's Luisito Gelacio fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 85 played minutes Cumbita got a freekick which was hit by Leonardo Lorien. Anier Ermengol's late challenge caught a Atlético Obelisco's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anier Ermengol helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Cumbita's Anier Ermengol got a free kick in the 88th minute. 89 minutes into the match, Cumbita's goal looked a bit too open when Osvaldo Grillo came free, but Arnaldo Fernandes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
