Pascual Hernández didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Batavia FC. After having played for 42 minutes, Vladimiro Caton managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Batavia FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vladimiro Caton was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pascual Hernández made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pastor Ilazki in the 44th minute of play. Batavia FC's Pastor Ilazki got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Benigno Sotero made the kick off in the second half. Pascual Hernández showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vladimiro Caton in the 57th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Batavia FC's Sergio Ignatius got a free kick in the 61st minute. In the 63rd match minute, Albigasta AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wesley Tavares to maneuver through the defense. When Wesley Tavares fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Albigasta AFC's protests and gave Wesley Tavares a yellow card for diving instead. After 67 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Albigasta AFC! In the 68th minute there was a penalty for Batavia FC. Pastor Ilazki stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Pascual Hernández. 1-0. Vladimiro Caton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pascual Hernández having to interfere. After some careless play in the Albigasta AFC defense, Pastor Ilazki kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pascual Hernández. The Albigasta AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pascual Hernández should have stopped the shot. Pastor Ilazki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pascual Hernández having to interfere. If Pastor Ilazki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Albigasta AFC getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Benigno Sotero hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vladimiro Caton in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pascual Hernández prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Roque Leizarraga fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Albigasta AFC's protests and gave Roque Leizarraga a yellow card for diving instead. Roque Leizarraga hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Pastor Ilazki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pascual Hernández having to interfere. Pastor Ilazki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Pastor Ilazki came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Batavia FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pastor Ilazki couldn't finish the play. Vladimiro Caton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pascual Hernández having to interfere. There was no doubt that Batavia FC were the better team. Batavia FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
