Spectators: 7481 (Terracing: 5612, Seating: 1720, VIP seats: 149) Grütly's Jörgen Lindholm started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience was convinced that Acácio Oliveira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Victorino Osasun was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. The El Millo fans' excitement grew in the 5th match minute when El Millo's Acácio Oliveira looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. A collision led to Grütly getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Gonzalo Tome hit a great ball. Aigisthos Farmakis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victorino Osasun having to interfere. In the 13th minute, Jim Roewen made a precise shot to the right of Victorino Osasun. Grütly's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Grütly's Victorino Osasun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelo Evangelista in the 17th minute of play. After 19 minutes of play, El Millo's Zacarias Fix made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Victorino Osasun was left in no man's land by his defense there! 27 minutes into the game, Marcelo Evangelista cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Victorino Osasun was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cipriano Oro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Sergio Caton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Grütly's goalkeeper Victorino Osasun, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 35 minutes into the match, Aigisthos Farmakis notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of Grütly's Victorino Osasun. Victorino Osasun was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Acácio Oliveira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half El Millo were leading 0-7. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Nigel Zammit blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Victorino Osasun having to make a save. When Jim Roewen came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the El Millo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jim Roewen couldn't finish the play. After 57th play minutes Acácio Oliveira shot 0-8, a short shot which went by Victorino Osasun and just under the crossbar into goal. Acácio Oliveira in the 62ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Victorino Osasun, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Aigisthos Farmakis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Victorino Osasun made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Acácio Oliveira sent off a good shot on target. In the 68th minute, El Millo's Cristobal Nesor ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Victorino Osasun. Victorino Osasun yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-9. Marcelo Evangelista had several of the Grütly's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 73 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-10 score and a disappointed Victorino Osasun as he didn't even see the shot coming. 78 minutes into the match, Acácio Oliveira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Victorino Osasun. Grütly's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Acácio Oliveira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-11. Aigisthos Farmakis might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Victorino Osasun. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aigisthos Farmakis ran back to his position shaking his head. Acácio Oliveira in the 84thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Victorino Osasun, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Jörgen Lindholm struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Sergio Caton didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Grütly. After a rather tough play, Grütly's Baran Taykut got a free kick in the 87th minute. Oscar Elequemedo kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 91 minutes, the score became 0-12 when Aigisthos Farmakis sped through Grütly's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Victorino Osasun. El Millo's Acácio Oliveira got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Grütly's Flavio Mede got a free kick in the 97th minute. 98 minutes in the game, Nigel Zammit fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Victorino Osasun having to interfere. El Millo's Aigisthos Farmakis got a good chance for a goal in the 99th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match was over El Millo could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Grütly throughout the match.
