Spectators: 7631 (Terracing: 5724, Seating: 1755, VIP seats: 152) Oberá's Alberto Cresencio started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Gregorio Nafarroa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angelino Quexal in the 9th minute of play. In the 11th minute, Alberto Cresencio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Oberá fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Haroldo Guter put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Gregorio Nafarroa. Gavino Quinton kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Niquivil AFC defense, Alberto Cresencio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gregorio Nafarroa. The Niquivil AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gregorio Nafarroa should have stopped the shot. When Alberto Cresencio came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Oberá fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alberto Cresencio couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Niquivil AFC's Gregorio Nafarroa got control of the ball when Erland Gåsland tried to sneak it across the goal line. A hard shot 40 in the game by Alberto Cresencio from a close distance when the talented Gregorio Nafarroa managed to make a qualified save. Niquivil AFC's players were relieved. Niquivil AFC's Gregorio Nafarroa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Niquivil AFC from getting a goal against them. Gregorio Nafarroa was out of position in the 44 minute of play, and Angelino Quexal capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Angelino Quexal really showed his touch with that goal: 6-0. In the 48th minute, Romeo Cortez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 6-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Paulo Mikelats to make the kick off. Felipe Pelayo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alberto Cresencio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gregorio Nafarroa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Cresencio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Marcial Cordaro fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Niquivil AFC's protests and gave Marcial Cordaro a yellow card for diving instead. Marcial Cordaro hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. 63 minutes into the game, Felipe Pelayo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-0. Gregorio Nafarroa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Felipe Pelayo scored 9-0 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gregorio Nafarroa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alberto Cresencio in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gregorio Nafarroa saved Niquivil AFC from getting behind. In the 82nd match minute, Niquivil AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guido Medardo to maneuver through the defense. Alberto Cresencio didn't quite understand what happened when in the 85 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Gregorio Nafarroa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severo Virila in the 86th minute of play. Alberto Cresencio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Gregorio Nafarroa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Felipe Pelayo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Felipe Pelayo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Niquivil AFC's Gregorio Nafarroa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Cresencio in the 96th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Erland Gåsland managed to get in a good position for a shot. Oberá's supporters rose to their feet, but Erland Gåsland was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gregorio Nafarroa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Angelino Quexal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 99th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Oberá fully deserved thier win.
