Spectators: 7559 (Terracing: 5670, Seating: 1738, VIP seats: 151) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Alberto Cresencio kicked off to start the match. Neanderthal's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Angelino Quexal 7 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. In the 15th minute, Pim Pero left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Neanderthal fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Through an outstanding action, after 21 minutes, Julian Egoi successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 22nd minute of the match Oberá got a corner. Neanderthal's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Haroldo Guter ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well done corner resulted in Mito Gugovski drilling the ball in to score 2-1 behind Neanderthal's goalkeeper. After having played for 31 minutes, Edgard Valiente managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Oberá's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edgard Valiente was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Oberá's Alberto Cresencio was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 34th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. 39 minutes into the match, Alberto Cresencio notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Neanderthal's Julian Egoi. Julian Egoi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Alberto Cresencio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Oberá's supporters rose to their feet, but Alberto Cresencio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julian Egoi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Neanderthal getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Eloy Rafel hit a great ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Virgilio Lugo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Alberto Cresencio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julian Egoi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 58thth minute of the game Alberto Cresencio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Neanderthal's Julian Egoi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 60th minute, Alberto Cresencio made a precise shot to the right of Julian Egoi. Neanderthal's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. Neanderthal made a substitution. Isaac Lehen replaced Romulo Bladi. Neanderthal's Lino Liher was substituted for Pim Pero. Julian Egoi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Cresencio in the 66th minute of play. Oberá's Damián Martínez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lino Liher in the 67th minute of play. The supporters of Oberá booed when Neanderthal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcelino Dominguez didn't get a good kick on the ball. 81 minutes into the match, Angelino Quexal notched a goal, 6-1, to the right of Neanderthal's Julian Egoi. Julian Egoi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 85th minute, Alberto Cresencio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. After 90 played minutes Neanderthal got a freekick which was hit by Armando Calisto. 95 minutes into the match, Alberto Cresencio notched a goal, 8-1, to the right of Neanderthal's Julian Egoi. Julian Egoi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Oberá had played much better football throughout.
