After some careless play in the Loncopué FC defense, Vinicio Florin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rene Claris. The Loncopué FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rene Claris should have stopped the shot. 13 minutes into the game, Ariel Sarracino was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Loncopué FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bahía é Carnaval the free kick. Ariel Sarracino kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. When Marciano Ferran came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Bahía é Carnaval fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marciano Ferran couldn't finish the play. Vinicio Florin took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rene Claris. Rene Claris dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. The supporters of Loncopué FC booed when Bahía é Carnaval was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Astor Brais didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 32nd minute Vinicio Florin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rene Claris saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 32 minutes, the score became 0-6 when Vinicio Florin sped through Loncopué FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rene Claris. 39 minutes into the game, Bahía é Carnaval's Vinicio Florin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rene Claris made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-7. Gualterio Osoro charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gualterio Osoro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ariel Sarracino in the 45th minute of play forced Bahía é Carnaval's goalkeeper Mickael Wuyts to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rene Claris made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marciano Ferran in the 47th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-7.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marciano Ferran was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Marciano Ferran cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-8. Rene Claris was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Marciano Ferran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rene Claris made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marciano Ferran in the 59th minute. Rene Claris showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vinicio Florin in the 59th minute of the match. In the 65th minute, Loncopué FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Vinicio Florin fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Rene Claris was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Rene Claris came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Bahía é Carnaval's Ceferino Miro. But to his dismay, Ceferino Miro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-11. Ceferino Miro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sebastian Tello in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rene Claris saved Loncopué FC from getting behind. Bahía é Carnaval's Ceferino Miro got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mickael Wuyts showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aquiles Lobo in the 97th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Aquiles Lobo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mickael Wuyts was relentless in the 97th minute of the game.
