In the 9thth minute of the game Pompiliu Corcoveanu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Humanoides disidentes's Damian Rebengiuc was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pompiliu Corcoveanu in the 13th minute of play forced Humanoides disidentes's goalkeeper Damian Rebengiuc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of AYACUCHO FUTBOL CLUB booed when Humanoides disidentes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfredo Firman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Omar Herrera's late challenge caught a AYACUCHO FUTBOL CLUB's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
