Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alonzo Ponce in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anacleto Crescencio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alonzo Ponce sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Anacleto Crescencio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Agustin Precioso hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. 39 minutes into the match, Palca's goal looked a bit too open when Alonzo Ponce came free, but Anacleto Crescencio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anacleto Crescencio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Palca players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Rivadavia were winning 0-3.

In the 53rd minute, Valentin Haritz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 53 minutes, Alonzo Ponce managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rivadavia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alonzo Ponce was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 57th minute, Ivan Nardo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 59 minutes into the match, Alonzo Ponce dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Anacleto Crescencio, 0-4. Alonzo Ponce scored 0-5 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Anacleto Crescencio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Alonzo Ponce might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Anacleto Crescencio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alonzo Ponce ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Palca's zone, Alonzo Ponce stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anacleto Crescencio came out of the goal and Alonzo Ponce tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match clock showed 76 minutes, the score became 0-6 when Alonzo Ponce sped through Palca's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Anacleto Crescencio. 81 minutes into the match, Palca's goalkeeper Anacleto Crescencio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alonzo Ponce. Alonzo Ponce struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Anacleto Crescencio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rivadavia. Rivadavia's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
