An unexpectedly hard shot by Amancio Jacob in the 17th minute of play forced Rivadavia's goalkeeper Horacio Eleazar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 19 minutes into the game, Olimpo's Camilo Chabier nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Horacio Eleazar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Horacio Eleazar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Arnulfo Tanio got a throw-in 37 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Ferhat Güneş. When Fernando Katia fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rivadavia's protests and gave Fernando Katia a yellow card for diving instead. In the 39th match minute, Rivadavia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernando Katia to maneuver through the defense. In the 40th minute Amancio Jacob shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Horacio Eleazar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 42 minutes into the game, Zacarias Navarro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. When Fernando Katia was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 46 minutes had been played. Fernando Katia kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. 48 minutes into the match, Rivadavia's goal looked a bit too open when Zacarias Navarro came free, but Horacio Eleazar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The wind increased when Alonzo Ponce made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute of the match, Amancio Jacob tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Horacio Eleazar saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Amancio Jacob took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Horacio Eleazar. Horacio Eleazar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Rivadavia's Horacio Eleazar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amancio Jacob in the 62nd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Amancio Jacob in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Horacio Eleazar saved Rivadavia from getting behind. The supporters of Rivadavia booed when Olimpo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ildefonso Ur didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 65 played minutes Rivadavia got a freekick which was hit by Agustin Precioso. In the 66th minute, Ferhat Güneş sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Rivadavia's Horacio Eleazar didn't even have to move. Zacarias Navarro took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Horacio Eleazar. Horacio Eleazar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. In the 74th minute, Olimpo's Amancio Jacob dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. Zacarias Navarro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horacio Eleazar having to interfere. The supporters of Olimpo booed when Rivadavia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mariano Ruy didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 82 played minutes, Olimpo's Ferhat Güneş shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Horacio Eleazar came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Olimpo reached it. After 85 played minutes Rivadavia got a freekick which was hit by Constantino Firman. A hard shot by Ferhat Güneş from long distance, 86 minutes into the match, got Horacio Eleazar's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After 87 played minutes Rivadavia got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Maria. After 89 played minutes Olimpo got a freekick which was hit by Arnulfo Tanio. A collision led to Olimpo getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Camilo Chabier hit a great ball. If Alonzo Ponce had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zacarias Navarro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
