Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Luciano Alvarez kicked off to start the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Hermengildo Liberto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lugano Futbol's supporters rose to their feet, but Hermengildo Liberto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Honorio Frederico breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luciano Alvarez in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Honorio Frederico prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 10th match minute, Palmas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfredo Hug to maneuver through the defense. If Zacarias Pere had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 16th match minute, Lugano Futbol was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zacarias Pere to maneuver through the defense. Ezequiel Oier kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. 19 minutes into the match, Eloy Herauso notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Palmas's Honorio Frederico. Honorio Frederico was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some careless play in the Palmas defense, Luciano Alvarez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Honorio Frederico. The Palmas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Honorio Frederico should have stopped the shot. Honorio Frederico took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luciano Chico, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 26 minutes into the match, Lugano Futbol's goal looked a bit too open when Anier Jacob came free, but Ruud Wollans reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 28 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Luciano Alvarez sped through Palmas's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Honorio Frederico. Zacarias Pere's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Honorio Frederico read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. Jimeno Lluciano's late challenge caught a Palmas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jimeno Lluciano helped the player get up and apologised. Zacarias Pagomari took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 35th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ruud Wollans. Lugano Futbol's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Zacarias Pere's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Honorio Frederico read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. Hermengildo Liberto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Honorio Frederico took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hermengildo Liberto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leonel Valerio kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. In the 42ndth minute of the game Luciano Alvarez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Palmas's Honorio Frederico was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Zacarias Pere received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Honorio Frederico tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zacarias Pere fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Honorio Frederico having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Anier Jacob to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Hermengildo Liberto fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Hermengildo Liberto might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Honorio Frederico. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hermengildo Liberto ran back to his position shaking his head. Hermengildo Liberto scored 0-4 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Honorio Frederico, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Zacarias Pere fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Honorio Frederico having to interfere. Luciano Alvarez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Honorio Frederico was out of position in the 75 minute of play, and Luciano Alvarez capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Luciano Alvarez really showed his touch with that goal: 0-5. After 77 played minutes Lugano Futbol got a freekick which was hit by Vinos Petrini. Adrian Policarpio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anier Jacob in the 83rd minute of play forced Lugano Futbol's goalkeeper Ruud Wollans to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Palmas's Honorio Frederico got control of the ball when Luciano Alvarez tried to sneak it across the goal line. Honorio Frederico made an important save on a dangerous shot by Igor Ralondo in the 88th minute. Luciano Alvarez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Honorio Frederico read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. With his leg Honorio Frederico managed to avoid a goal in the 96thth minute, when Lugano Futbol's Luciano Alvarez fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Lugano Futbol's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
