Spectators: 7492 (Terracing: 5620, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 149) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Luciano Alvarez kicked off to start the match. In the 3rd minute Ziemowit Kloczko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauro Cordera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 5 minutes into the match, Luciano Alvarez notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of 11 Leones de Zion's Mauro Cordera. Mauro Cordera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 10 minutes into the match, 11 Leones de Zion's goal looked a bit too open when Artemio Maurino came free, but Mauro Cordera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 14th minute, Luciano Alvarez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 19 minutes into the game, Ziemowit Kloczko cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Mauro Cordera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luciano Alvarez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mauro Cordera having to make a save. Mauro Cordera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luciano Alvarez, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. When Lugano Futbol's Luciano Alvarez in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 35th minute, Ziemowit Kloczko ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mauro Cordera was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Zacarias Pere blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mauro Cordera having to make a save. In the 39th minute, Luciano Alvarez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Zacarias Pere managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lugano Futbol's supporters rose to their feet, but Zacarias Pere was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mauro Cordera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Luciano Alvarez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mauro Cordera was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. When Lugano Futbol's Luciano Alvarez in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Lugano Futbol's Artemio Maurino was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 53rd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Luciano Alvarez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Mauro Cordera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 58th minute, Lugano Futbol's Zacarias Pere ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Mauro Cordera. Mauro Cordera yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-8. After having played for 62 minutes, Ziemowit Kloczko managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lugano Futbol's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ziemowit Kloczko was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 67 minutes into the game, Luciano Alvarez lined in a short shot 0-10 behind a frustrated Mauro Cordera. An unexpected shot in the 70th minute by Ziemowit Kloczko got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 11 Leones de Zion's Mauro Cordera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hermengildo Liberto in the 72nd minute of play. Mauro Cordera was a little too slow when Luciano Alvarez got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 72nd minute. The score was now 0-11. Mauro Cordera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luciano Alvarez's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind 11 Leones de Zion's goalkeeper Mauro Cordera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 83 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for 11 Leones de Zion! In the 84th minute there was a penalty for Lugano Futbol. Leonel Valerio stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Mauro Cordera. 0-13. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luciano Alvarez in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mauro Cordera saved 11 Leones de Zion from getting behind. In the 90th minute, Ziemowit Kloczko fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The audience was convinced that Luciano Alvarez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mauro Cordera was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. 93 minutes into the match, Lugano Futbol's Zacarias Pere sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mauro Cordera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 93rd minute, Zacarias Pere left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lugano Futbol fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-14.
