In the 14th minute, Pichanal AFC's Nicolas Berenguer dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Traili FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Delmiro Otsando charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Francisco Pueblo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Delmiro Otsando, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 75th minute, Nicolas Etxepare hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Traili FC's Fernando Gaitano got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 77 minutes, Fabio Orzaize mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pichanal AFC and the Traili FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Pichanal AFC's Fabio Orzaize got a free kick in the 78th minute. Vinicio Panfilo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 90 minutes into the match, Traili FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nicolas Berenguer came free, but Romulo Faro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Romulo Faro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luisito Frisco in the 93rd minute of the match. After having played for 94 minutes, Fernando Gaitano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Traili FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fernando Gaitano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Traili FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
