Fausto Mergildo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 18th match minute, Aquiles Baeza FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fausto Mergildo to maneuver through the defense. Karl-Ove Karlstedt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Joël Bats made a huge save. 23 minutes into the match, El Pode FC's goal looked a bit too open when Armando Pelagius came free, but Gabriel Matai reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Karl-Ove Karlstedt in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joël Bats prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The crowd rose to their feet as Aquiles Baeza FC's Elvio Chico slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gabriel Matai. That made the score 0-2 after 54 minutes of play. In the 59th minute Siro Eskuin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gabriel Matai saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elvio Chico could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Gabriel Matai made a huge save. In the 67th minute, Aquiles Baeza FC's Armando Pelagius ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gabriel Matai. Gabriel Matai yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. After a defensive mix-up in Aquiles Baeza FC's zone, Karl-Ove Karlstedt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joël Bats came out of the goal and Karl-Ove Karlstedt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Joël Bats made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 江昂坚 in the 73rd minute of play. After 75 minutes Aquiles Baeza FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Victoriano Misael who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Victoriano Misael almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Aquiles Baeza FC's Joël Bats did a great save. Gabriel Matai didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 77th minute, which inside left pole to 0-4. Gabriel Matai made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Armando Pelagius sent off a good shot on target. Elvio Chico fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabriel Matai having to interfere. Delmiro Azibar made in the 87th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Aquiles Baeza FC's Romeo Cidro. Gabriel Matai showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Siro Eskuin in the 88th minute of the match. Gabriel Matai made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Armando Pelagius sent off a good shot on target. In the 91st minute, Ezequiel Gutierrez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 93 minutes into the game, Armando Pelagius cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Gabriel Matai was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 97 minutes into the match, Elvio Chico had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gabriel Matai. El Pode FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Elvio Chico was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. The Aquiles Baeza FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Aquiles Baeza FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
