In the 19th minute, Hernán Crespo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Eduardo Sidoro. The goal made the score 4-0. Hernán Crespo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Eduardo Sidoro came out and tried to block the shot, but Hernán Crespo slotted it home off the left post making it 5-0 in the 23rd minute. Hernán Crespo succeeded in the game's 25th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 6-0. In the 29th play minute Alejo Uhin came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Eduardo Sidoro. 7-0. The crowd rose to their feet as El Millo de Haedo's Hernán Crespo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Eduardo Sidoro. That made the score 8-0 after 32 minutes of play. After 45 minutes, Hernán Crespo made it 10-0 with a short kick to the right side. Florida's Eduardo Sidoro tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Af the end of the first half the score was 10-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Eduardo Sidoro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
