The referee ignored Rincón de los Sauces AFC's protests and gave Desiderio Fagondo a yellow card for diving instead. Desiderio Fagondo hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. A hard shot by Mantvydas Balvočius from long distance, 45 minutes into the match, got Galip Öveç's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. 47 minutes into the game, Rincón de los Sauces AFC's Leonides Amaya nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mateo Lueje made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Galip Öveç showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dieguinho Godoi, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Galip Öveç was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. United Legends were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
