The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Gustav Ramfjord took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ruperto Acevedo. Ruperto Acevedo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, 龚广镇 managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kukombo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but 龚广镇 was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ruperto Acevedo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fausto Tipi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Baur having to interfere. Ernesto Hustaz kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hector Iban during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Kukombo FC booed when Quenomá AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hector Iban didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nicanor Jenaro took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 24th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ruperto Acevedo. Quenomá AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 龚广镇 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 龚广镇 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. In the 40thth minute of the game Gustav Ramfjord who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Quenomá AFC's Ruperto Acevedo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 41 played minutes Quenomá AFC got a freekick which was hit by Ernesto Hustaz. Ruperto Acevedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustav Ramfjord, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 龚广镇 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruperto Acevedo having to interfere.

Fausto Tipi's late challenge caught a Kukombo FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fausto Tipi helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Quenomá AFC getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Fausto Tipi hit a great ball. 56 minutes into the match, Kukombo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fausto Tipi came free, but David Baur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Quenomá AFC's zone, 龚广镇 stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ruperto Acevedo came out of the goal and 龚广镇 tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alejo Paez kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. In the 65th minute Denis Bonifaco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Baur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If 龚广镇 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gustav Ramfjord sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 73 played minutes, Kukombo FC's Cristian Galtero shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ruperto Acevedo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Kukombo FC reached it. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 74th minute of the game. One of Quenomá AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Kukombo FC:s goal. When the match had been going on for 75 minutes, Kukombo FC's 龚广镇 got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Ruperto Acevedo. After having played for 83 minutes, Joel Domiku managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kukombo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joel Domiku was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Quenomá AFC booed when Kukombo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicanor Jenaro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Quenomá AFC's Fausto Tipi got his second yellow card of the match in the 94th minute. The referee ordered Fausto Tipi off the ground. Quenomá AFC's Ruperto Acevedo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 98th minute of the match, managed to save Quenomá AFC from getting a goal against them.
