Orlando Diagur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anastasio Stanislao having to interfere. Gabriel Qwinton's late challenge caught a Soy Cordobés AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gabriel Qwinton helped the player get up and apologised. Gabriel Qwinton hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Prudencio Licerio in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gilberto Chaime prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Soy Cordobés AFC getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Octavio Laurentzi hit a great ball. The supporters of Sepultura booed when Soy Cordobés AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Octavio Laurentzi didn't get a good kick on the ball. 19 minutes into the game, Soy Cordobés AFC's Prudencio Licerio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gilberto Chaime made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. 22 minutes into the match, Benigno Bermudo notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Sepultura's Gilberto Chaime. Gilberto Chaime was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 25 minutes, Prudencio Licerio made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Sepultura's Gilberto Chaime tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 29 minutes into the match, Gabriel Qwinton had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Anastasio Stanislao. Soy Cordobés AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gabriel Qwinton was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Benigno Bermudo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 32ndth minute, Gilberto Chaime skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 34th minute Gabriel Qwinton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anastasio Stanislao saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benigno Bermudo came free with the goalkeeper in the 37th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Gilberto Chaime could save by the left post. 40 minutes into the game, Soy Cordobés AFC's Octavio Laurentzi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gilberto Chaime made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. Anastasio Stanislao showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Orlando Diagur in the 44th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Prudencio Licerio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Benigno Bermudo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Joaquin Chorche fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Soy Cordobés AFC's protests and gave Joaquin Chorche a yellow card for diving instead. In the 55th minute, Joaquin Chorche hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Orlando Diagur got free with Anastasio Stanislao in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gilberto Chaime showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benigno Bermudo, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. In the 75th match minute, Sepultura was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benicio Udalaitz to maneuver through the defense. After 76 played minutes Prudencio Licerio shot from long distance. At first the shot seemed to be simple for Sepultura's Gilberto Chaime to catch but Prudencio Licerio was lucky. It became 6-1 after the goalkeeper had been careless and dropped the ball into goal. When the match had gone on for 79 minutes, Prudencio Licerio put it in 7-1 from a short distance just to the right of Gilberto Chaime. When Victor Hotz fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Soy Cordobés AFC's protests and gave Victor Hotz a yellow card for diving instead. Gilberto Chaime made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erubiel Fix in the 86th minute of play. Prudencio Licerio took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gilberto Chaime. Gilberto Chaime dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-1. Orlando Diagur could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Anastasio Stanislao made a huge save. Luis Baumar hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. When the referee ended the match the Soy Cordobés AFC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
