But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Salvador Guillerme couldn't finish the play. Huanchilla's defense didn't have a chance, in the 4th minute, when Jan Biörk scored to the left of an out of position Bernardo Jakue, making the score, 1-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jan Biörk in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bernardo Jakue saved Huanchilla from getting behind. In the 10th minute, Salvador Guillerme got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Salvador Guillerme received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Bernardo Jakue tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Jan Biörk's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bernardo Jakue was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. The supporters of Los Chupa booed when Huanchilla was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eleuterio Cidro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ignacio Breogan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erubiel Iigo in the 28th minute of play. When Los Chupa's Jan Biörk in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Huanchilla's goalie prevented a goal. Bernardo Jakue stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jan Biörk's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. Los Chupa's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Salvador Guillerme in the 40th minute. A nice corner shot did that Salvador Guillerme got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Bernardo Jakue quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Jan Biörk scored 5-0 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bernardo Jakue, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gilberto Jacob got free with Bernardo Jakue in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Salvador Guillerme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardo Jakue having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jan Biörk stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 55 minutes, Jan Biörk put it in 6-0 from a short distance just to the right of Bernardo Jakue. After 59 minutes, Jan Biörk made it 7-0 with a short kick to the right side. Huanchilla's Bernardo Jakue tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Jan Biörk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Salvador Guillerme struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Bernardo Jakue came out of the goal and Gilberto Jacob tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ramiro Cruz charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ramiro Cruz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 90th minute, Ramiro Cruz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Los Chupa's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
