Mauro Salvadore made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. If Jonathan Massa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 15th minute, Orlando Iraitz made a precise shot to the right of Mauro Salvadore. Mataderos del Abuelo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. In the 21st minute, Gadiel Bobadilla made a precise shot to the right of Mauro Salvadore. When Gadiel Bobadilla came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Mustang V8 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gadiel Bobadilla couldn't finish the play. In the 32nd minute, Gadiel Bobadilla ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mauro Salvadore was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Mustang V8's Silvestre Santio got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gadiel Bobadilla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mauro Salvadore having to interfere. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Orlando Iraitz to make the kick off. After taking down the ball on Mustang V8's corner Orlando Iraitz fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Mauro Salvadore quite easily take care of the ball. 53 minutes into the game, Mustang V8's Gadiel Bobadilla nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gadiel Bobadilla showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-8. Teodoro Palben recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 64 minutes into the match, Orlando Iraitz notched a goal, 1-9, to the right of Mataderos del Abuelo's Mauro Salvadore. Mauro Salvadore was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 68 minutes into the game, Jonathan Massa recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Mauro Salvadore. Jonathan Massa showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-10. In the 71st minute Iker Bakar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niceto Paio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 72nd minute of the match, Orlando Iraitz got a very nice opportunity to score, but Mauro Salvadore was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Jonathan Massa scored 1-11 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mauro Salvadore, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 76th minute, Mustang V8's Gadiel Bobadilla dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-12. After some careless play in the Mataderos del Abuelo defense, Orlando Iraitz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mauro Salvadore. The Mataderos del Abuelo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mauro Salvadore should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Mustang V8's zone, Cirilo Elia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Niceto Paio came out of the goal and Cirilo Elia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Teodoro Palben received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Mauro Salvadore came out and tried to block the shot, but Teodoro Palben slotted it home off the left post making it 1-14 in the 85th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Silvestre Santio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mustang V8's supporters rose to their feet, but Silvestre Santio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mauro Salvadore breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 93rd minute Iker Bakar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niceto Paio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rigoberto Odilon during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. The Mataderos del Abuelo fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Mustang V8 were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
