The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Los Andes FC's Blas Guillem proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Los Andes FC from getting a goal against them. In the 9th minute Aldo Ekhi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Blas Guillem saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 10 minutes had been played when some careless play by Los Andes FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Eleuterio Ignado was slow to take the kick. During this time Santos Demonios FC's players had a chance to rest. After 10 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Los Andes FC! Blas Guillem had in the 11thth minute some difficulties stopping Eleuterio Ignado's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his right side, but he still managed to hold the ball Eleuterio Ignado took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Blas Guillem. Blas Guillem dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 14th minute Domingo Anaya shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Blas Guillem saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Los Andes FC's Blas Guillem proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Los Andes FC from getting a goal against them. Blas Guillem made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zeledon Markel in the 18th minute of play. Domingo Anaya hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. After 21 minutes, Sebastian Lordi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Los Andes FC and the Santos Demonios FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Los Andes FC getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Sebastian Lordi hit a great ball. 22 minutes into the match, Los Andes FC's goal looked a bit too open when Aldo Ekhi came free, but Blas Guillem reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulises Esdras in the 23rd minute of play forced Santos Demonios FC's goalkeeper Christian Raymundo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Christian Raymundo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fermin Urki in the 25th minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, Santos Demonios FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ulises Esdras came free, but Christian Raymundo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Domingo Anaya could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Blas Guillem made a huge save. In the 27th minute, Domingo Anaya reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Blas Guillem. The goal made the score 2-0. Domingo Anaya recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 35 minutes into the match, Santos Demonios FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ubaldo Hernando came free, but Christian Raymundo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Los Andes FC's Blas Guillem proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Los Andes FC from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Camilo Restu got free with Blas Guillem in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 39 minutes of play, Santos Demonios FC's Aldo Ekhi made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Blas Guillem was left in no man's land by his defense there! Los Andes FC's Blas Guillem proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Los Andes FC from getting a goal against them. 42 minutes into the game, Domingo Anaya recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Blas Guillem. Domingo Anaya showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-0. Aldo Ekhi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Blas Guillem tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Victoriano Ramirez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Santos Demonios FC booed when Los Andes FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastian Lordi didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Eleuterio Ignado came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Santos Demonios FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eleuterio Ignado couldn't finish the play. In the 58th minute, Domingo Anaya hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Blas Guillem stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eleuterio Ignado's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. Blas Guillem made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Domingo Anaya in the 64th minute of play. If Eleuterio Ignado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 66 minutes into the match, Los Andes FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eleuterio Ignado came free, but Blas Guillem reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 66 minutes into the game, Natalio Berbiz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Los Andes FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Santos Demonios FC the free kick. Aldo Ekhi scored 7-0 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Blas Guillem, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Domingo Anaya scored 8-0 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Blas Guillem, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Santos Demonios FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
