Paulo Ramos helped the player get up and apologised. Paulo Ramos kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Cesar Argoitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 28 minutes, Lisandro Rexino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Écija Balompié and the Narváez players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Narváez booed when Écija Balompié was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lisandro Rexino didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 30 played minutes Écija Balompié got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Ramos. Cleto Firmo charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cleto Firmo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 38 minutes into the match, Écija Balompié's goal looked a bit too open when Desiderio Distiratsu came free, but Constantino Iratzeder reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Constantino Iratzeder stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cesar Argoitz's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. Constantino Iratzeder made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Desiderio Distiratsu in the 46th minute of play. In the 48th minute Cesar Argoitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Constantino Iratzeder saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half Narváez were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cesar Argoitz to make the kick off. After 51 played minutes Écija Balompié got a freekick which was hit by Flavio Etxahun. In the 54th minute, Cleto Firmo sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Écija Balompié's Constantino Iratzeder didn't even have to move. An unexpected shot in the 55th minute by Desiderio Distiratsu got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Narváez's Cesar Argoitz got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Paulo Ramos hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. In the 65th minute Cesar Argoitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Constantino Iratzeder saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Constantino Iratzeder took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Siro Eliazar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Constantino Iratzeder stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cesar Argoitz's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vicente Milio during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 78 played minutes Écija Balompié got a freekick which was hit by Vicente Milio. If Desiderio Distiratsu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paulo Ramos kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. In the 90th minute Narváez were awarded a corner. Cleto Firmo went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Écija Balompié's goalkeeper Constantino Iratzeder, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Narváez's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
