Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-7 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Benicio Escobar made a kick off. Juárez AFC's Benicio Escobar was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 73rd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Benicio Escobar in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gilberto Gelmiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Cristobal Checa fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Juárez AFC's protests and gave Cristobal Checa a yellow card for diving instead. Gilberto Gelmiro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristobal Checa in the 85th minute. Cristobal Checa took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gilberto Gelmiro. Gilberto Gelmiro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-11. Gilberto Gelmiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benicio Escobar in the 92nd minute of the match. Benicio Escobar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Gilberto Gelmiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 95 minutes into the match, Racing Galaxy's goalkeeper Gilberto Gelmiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristobal Checa. Claudio Lander scored 1-12 in the 96th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gilberto Gelmiro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Racing Galaxy supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Juárez AFC's performance. The match ended with a win for Juárez AFC.
