The crowd rose to their feet as Racing Comunicaciones's Waclaw Traczewski slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Edelmiro Iruinea. That made the score 2-0 after 20 minutes of play. 23 minutes into the game, Waclaw Traczewski recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Edelmiro Iruinea. Waclaw Traczewski showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. Racing Comunicaciones's Virgilio Lidon was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 27th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Manuel Milian lost his temper 31 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 30th minute, one of PaGas FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for PaGas FC. PaGas FC:s Edelmiro Iruinea showed great skill when he stopped Joel Bibiano:s penalty. Laureano Belasko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Atilano Lertxun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Atilano Blanco got free with Edelmiro Iruinea in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience was convinced that Waclaw Traczewski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edelmiro Iruinea was relentless in the 48th minute of the game.

Virgilio Lidon took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edelmiro Iruinea. After some careless play in the PaGas FC defense, Atilano Blanco kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edelmiro Iruinea. The PaGas FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edelmiro Iruinea should have stopped the shot. A collision led to PaGas FC getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Reynaldo Arias hit a great ball. A throw-in in the 75th minute of the game was made by Fabricio Lastur with Flavio Azibar as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. When the match clock showed 80 minutes, the score became 8-0 when Virgilio Lidon sped through PaGas FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Edelmiro Iruinea. Virgilio Lidon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Edelmiro Iruinea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Clodoveo Elodio fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Racing Comunicaciones's Laureano Belasko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vicente Inautzi in the 91st minute of play.
