If Leonardo Galtero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Joaquin Bertran took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gustavo Joanes. Gustavo Joanes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Joaquin Bertran managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fandango FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Joaquin Bertran was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gustavo Joanes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joaquin Bertran in the 13th minute of play forced Borbotones's goalkeeper Gustavo Joanes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Borbotones's zone, Leonardo Galtero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gustavo Joanes came out of the goal and Leonardo Galtero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Basilio Ixaka fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustavo Joanes having to interfere. If Eustaquio Serapio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gustavo Joanes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonardo Galtero in the 22nd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Joaquin Bertran's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gustavo Joanes was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. Basilio Ixaka recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Erubiel Erauso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The attack was good, but when Erubiel Erauso in the 30th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Basilio Ixaka might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gustavo Joanes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Basilio Ixaka ran back to his position shaking his head. 34 minutes into the match, Leonardo Galtero notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Borbotones's Gustavo Joanes. Gustavo Joanes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Melquiades Larra made the kick off in the second half. Leonardo Galtero kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. 53 minutes into the game, Barnaba Gollob cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Gustavo Joanes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Erubiel Erauso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Gustavo Joanes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gustavo Joanes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Basilio Ixaka in the 59th minute of the match. Gustavo Joanes made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Basilio Ixaka sent off a good shot on target. In the 61st minute, Joaquin Bertran got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Erubiel Erausos short, quick shot in the 82ndth minute got Gustavo Joanes to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 83rd minute, Leonardo Galtero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
