Patricio Bixintxo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Ruperto Joey made a huge save. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Patricio Bixintxo to make the kick off. Ruperto Joey came out of the goal and Pavlos Gonias tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gil Massa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Conrado Rivas in the 85th minute of play. In the 88th minute Conrado Rivas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gil Massa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. racingdueño de una pasion's Ruperto Joey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patricio Bixintxo in the 90th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Patricio Bixintxo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Puerto Argentino's supporters rose to their feet, but Patricio Bixintxo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ruperto Joey breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Conrado Rivas might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gil Massa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Conrado Rivas ran back to his position shaking his head. racingdueño de una pasion's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
