Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Godo Schirp kicked off to start the match. Vladimiro Quirze sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Godo Schirp's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Natalio Karmel was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. In the 12th minute there was a penalty for FC Kaiserslautern. Pastor Amor stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Natalio Karmel. 0-1. In the 14th minute, Ubaldo Ursino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 21st minute, Vladimiro Quirze left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Kaiserslautern fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 31st minute, Eugenio Diagur hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Godo Schirp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 36th match minute, FC Kaiserslautern was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ubaldo Ursino to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of FC Kaiserslautern booed when Corrales was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Froilan Beltran didn't get a good kick on the ball. Natalio Karmel came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by FC Kaiserslautern's Godo Schirp. But to his dismay, Godo Schirp quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 57th minute Geronimo Victoro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eugeniusz Ciempa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Geronimo Victoro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eugeniusz Ciempa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iker Berdaitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Godo Schirp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Vladimiro Quirze came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the FC Kaiserslautern fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vladimiro Quirze couldn't finish the play. Godo Schirp took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Natalio Karmel. Natalio Karmel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. In the 81st minute Geronimo Victoro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eugeniusz Ciempa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 86 minutes of play, Corrales's Iker Berdaitz made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eugeniusz Ciempa was left in no man's land by his defense there! Eugeniusz Ciempa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iker Berdaitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Corrales's Iker Berdaitz got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Geronimo Victoro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eugeniusz Ciempa having to interfere. The FC Kaiserslautern players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
