But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Evren Cambaz couldn't finish the play. Ruslan Gonta scored 0-3 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Natalio Karmel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 60th minute Ruslan Gonta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Natalio Karmel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. ECHESORTU FC's Ruslan Gonta got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. ECHESORTU FC's Atilla Kutertan got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luiz Cardoso came out of the goal in the 98th minute to try and stop a shot by Corrales's Norberto Arotza. But to his dismay, Norberto Arotza quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-9. The Corrales fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. ECHESORTU FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
