In the 2nd match minute, C.A Goleadores was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jairo Urti to maneuver through the defense. Christian Vermudo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Genaro Sotil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 5th minute, Javier Cordarin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ruperto Urtun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Serafin Eneto in the 12th minute of the match. After 14 minutes, Severo Gaskon made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. C.A Goleadores's Genaro Sotil tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When Anacleto Tristan came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the MALUGANI F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anacleto Tristan couldn't finish the play. C.A Goleadores's Genaro Sotil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christian Vermudo in the 24th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Severo Gaskon managed to get in a good position for a shot. MALUGANI F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Severo Gaskon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Genaro Sotil breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 26th minute, Christian Vermudo made a precise shot to the right of Genaro Sotil. C.A Goleadores's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Honorio Belasko charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Honorio Belasko the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 38th play minutes Christian Vermudo shot 0-3, a short shot which went by Genaro Sotil and just under the crossbar into goal. Genaro Sotil stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Severo Gaskon's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. Christian Vermudo scored 0-4 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Genaro Sotil, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 48 minutes into the match, C.A Goleadores's goal looked a bit too open when Severo Gaskon came free, but Genaro Sotil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half MALUGANI F.C. were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Christian Vermudo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christian Vermudo in the 52nd minute of play forced C.A Goleadores's goalkeeper Genaro Sotil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Severo Gaskon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Christian Vermudo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Genaro Sotil having to make a save. After some careless play in the C.A Goleadores defense, Severo Gaskon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Genaro Sotil. The C.A Goleadores fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Genaro Sotil should have stopped the shot. After 59 minutes, Severo Gaskon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MALUGANI F.C. and the C.A Goleadores players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 59th match minute, MALUGANI F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Severo Gaskon to maneuver through the defense. 63 minutes into the game, MALUGANI F.C.'s Severo Gaskon nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Genaro Sotil made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. Genaro Sotil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christian Vermudo in the 80th minute of play. In the 83rdth minute of the game Christian Vermudo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C.A Goleadores's Genaro Sotil was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 87 minutes, Severo Gaskon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MALUGANI F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Severo Gaskon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpected shot in the 90th minute by Severo Gaskon got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. A hard shot 95 in the game by Severo Gaskon from a close distance when the talented Genaro Sotil managed to make a qualified save. C.A Goleadores's players were relieved.
