Paulo Renato Pirani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Generoso Toro in the 12th minute of the match. In the 15th minute, Emilio Hotz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Serafin Garaona got free with Paulo Renato Pirani in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 23rd minute Emilio Hotz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabian Timo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kadim Ulutay in the 25th minute of play forced Rufián's goalkeeper Fabian Timo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Generoso Toro was the one to do the kick off. Godfredo Etxekopar might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Paulo Renato Pirani. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Godfredo Etxekopar ran back to his position shaking his head. Paulo Renato Pirani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Generoso Toro in the 58th minute of play. Fabian Timo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kadim Ulutay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Paulo Renato Pirani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Generoso Toro in the 62nd minute of the match. 68 minutes into the match, Rufián's Jonas Figueroa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Paulo Renato Pirani narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Calchaca FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
