Christian Vermudo might have been able to make a better finish in the 5th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Carlos Jurdan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Christian Vermudo ran back to his position shaking his head. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anacleto Tristan in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carlos Jurdan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Christian Vermudo was extremely unlucky when he, in the 10th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After a rather tough play, Goldney AFC's Pascual Casomiro got a free kick in the 11th minute. In the 12th minute Christian Vermudo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Jurdan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 15 minutes into the match, MALUGANI F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Santos Silviano came free, but Ruperto Urtun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 15 minutes into the match, Santos Silviano notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of MALUGANI F.C.'s Ruperto Urtun. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gerardo Bonadona during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 42nd minute, one of Goldney AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Goldney AFC. The referee gave MALUGANI F.C. a penalty, 45 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Christian Vermudo, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Goldney AFC's Carlos Jurdan. 2-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Santos Silviano to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51stth minute of the game Severo Gaskon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Goldney AFC's Carlos Jurdan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Christian Vermudo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. MALUGANI F.C.'s Ruperto Urtun proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save MALUGANI F.C. from getting a goal against them. 56 minutes into the game, MALUGANI F.C.'s Christian Vermudo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Carlos Jurdan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. In the 64th minute, Severo Gaskon made a precise shot to the right of Carlos Jurdan. Goldney AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. A hard shot 71 in the game by Basilio Argi from a close distance when the talented Ruperto Urtun managed to make a qualified save. MALUGANI F.C.'s players were relieved. When Siro Gorka fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored MALUGANI F.C.'s protests and gave Siro Gorka a yellow card for diving instead. Severo Gaskon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carlos Jurdan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. In the 81st minute, Severo Gaskon left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The MALUGANI F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. Carlos Jurdan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Severo Gaskon went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-1 was the resulting score. If Severo Gaskon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. MALUGANI F.C.'s Christian Vermudo got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Santos Silviano charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Santos Silviano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 95th match minute, Goldney AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santos Silviano to maneuver through the defense. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. MALUGANI F.C. fully deserved thier win.
