Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Goldney AFC's Santos Silviano started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 12th minute, Severo Gaskon ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Carlos Jurdan was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 17 minutes into the match, Goldney AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Severo Gaskon came free, but Carlos Jurdan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 17 played minutes Goldney AFC got a freekick which was hit by Santos Silviano. Emilio Bihar scored 0-2 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Carlos Jurdan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the Goldney AFC defense, Christian Vermudo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Carlos Jurdan. The Goldney AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Carlos Jurdan should have stopped the shot. In the 29th minute, Christian Vermudo made a precise shot to the right of Carlos Jurdan. Goldney AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. In the 32nd match minute, MALUGANI F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fermin Kelemen to maneuver through the defense. If Christian Vermudo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carlos Jurdan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severo Gaskon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 39th minute of the match, Santos Silviano tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ruperto Urtun saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Carlos Jurdan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Severo Gaskon's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. In the 48th minute Christian Vermudo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Jurdan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Christian Vermudo was the one to do the kick off. Goldney AFC's Carlos Jurdan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christian Vermudo in the 52nd minute of play. Severo Gaskon's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 53rdth minute, Carlos Jurdan skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Severo Gaskon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Carlos Jurdan made a huge save. Mario Rufo's late challenge caught a MALUGANI F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mario Rufo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 56th match minute, Goldney AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mario Rufo to maneuver through the defense. After 66th play minutes Severo Gaskon shot 0-6, a short shot which went by Carlos Jurdan and just under the crossbar into goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Santos Silviano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Goldney AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Santos Silviano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ruperto Urtun breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee felt a red card was in order, 71 minutes into the game, when Siro Gorka put in a rough tackle. After 70 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for MALUGANI F.C.! When the match had gone on for 76 minutes, Severo Gaskon put it in 1-7 from a short distance just to the right of Carlos Jurdan. Severo Gaskon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Severo Gaskon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Jurdan having to interfere. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind Goldney AFC's goalkeeper Carlos Jurdan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The Goldney AFC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. MALUGANI F.C. were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
