Francisc Ozon was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 22nd minute Christian Vermudo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francisc Ozon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Francisc Ozon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Severo Gaskon in the 24th minute. Ruperto Urtun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tudur Fitriansyah in the 25th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Yupandú FC's zone, Christian Vermudo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Francisc Ozon came out of the goal and Christian Vermudo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 42nd match minute, Yupandú FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Malick Mané to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Christian Vermudo in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Francisc Ozon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 45 minutes into the match, MALUGANI F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Tudur Fitriansyah came free, but Ruperto Urtun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Christian Vermudo to strike the kick off in the second half. Francisc Ozon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severo Gaskon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ruperto Urtun made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tudur Fitriansyah in the 56th minute. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Yupandú FC's goalkeeper Francisc Ozon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Amadeo Cucao fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruperto Urtun having to interfere. Tudur Fitriansyah received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Ruperto Urtun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Francisc Ozon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anacleto Tristan in the 67th minute of the match. A collision led to Yupandú FC getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Malick Mané hit a great ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The MALUGANI F.C. fans cheered their team off the field, for while Yupandú FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
