The referee ignored Huinganco's protests and gave Aureliano Mero a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of ARSENAL FC booed when Huinganco was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aureliano Mero didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 35 minutes, Faustino Turi made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. Huinganco's Roque Dimas tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Faustino Turi kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Roque Dimas. That made the score 4-1 in the 38 minute of play. Emiliano Nerio kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Jonathan Herrera was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 47th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Faustino Turi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Roque Dimas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Faustino Turi, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. After 52 played minutes Huinganco got a freekick which was hit by Gervasio Bernabel. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ladislao Sergi during the 54th minute. Roque Dimas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-1. Jonathan Herrera struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Roque Dimas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ARSENAL FC. When Angelo Ignazio fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Huinganco's protests and gave Angelo Ignazio a yellow card for diving instead. In the 79th match minute, Huinganco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angelo Ignazio to maneuver through the defense. 83 minutes into the game, Faustino Turi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-1. When the match had been going on for 97 minutes, Huinganco's Fernando Felipillo got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Abel Lobo. There was no doubt that ARSENAL FC were the better team. ARSENAL FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
