If Armando Sugar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 20 played minutes Gorra Boton FC got a freekick which was hit by Santo Chayo. 23 minutes into the game, Zarate es CADU's Edelmiro Feliz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zeledon Isauro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. In the 29th minute, Edelmiro Feliz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zeledon Isauro was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. 34 minutes into the match, Gorra Boton FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lázaro Ibar came free, but Zeledon Isauro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zeledon Isauro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lázaro Ibar went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. Gorra Boton FC's Zeledon Isauro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edelmiro Feliz in the 40th minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Jonathan Galsino in the 42nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Zarate es CADU's Lázaro Ibar.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edelmiro Feliz was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lázaro Ibar in the 53rd minute of play forced Gorra Boton FC's goalkeeper Zeledon Isauro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zeledon Isauro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edelmiro Feliz in the 64th minute of play. Santo Chayo struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Marcin Munko didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gorra Boton FC. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Edelmiro Feliz during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 68 played minutes Zarate es CADU got a freekick which was hit by Edelmiro Feliz. Edelmiro Feliz received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Zeledon Isauro came out and tried to block the shot, but Edelmiro Feliz slotted it home off the left post making it 0-7 in the 72nd minute. Marcin Munko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santo Chayo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zeledon Isauro made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Edelmiro Feliz sent off a good shot on target. In the 79th minute Lázaro Ibar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zeledon Isauro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gaston Oliviero's late challenge caught a Gorra Boton FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gaston Oliviero helped the player get up and apologised. It was beautiful to see Gorra Boton FC's Eustacio Ihintza in action when he in the 85th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! After 89 played minutes Gorra Boton FC got a freekick which was hit by Eustacio Ihintza. Zeledon Isauro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edelmiro Feliz in the 90th minute of play. Zarate es CADU's Lázaro Ibar managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Felix Totakoxe in the 94 minute of the game. After 95 minutes, Eustacio Ihintza mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gorra Boton FC and the Zarate es CADU players grew even worse after the yellow card. Eustacio Ihintza kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. The Gorra Boton FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Zarate es CADU were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
