In the 47th minute of the match Felix Indartsu sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eloy Transito skillfully saved the ball. After the first half Perugurria were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Eloy Transito had great luck who in the 71stth minute grab hold of the ball when Eulalio Quilino from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Leonel Florian recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Astor Hurko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Casimiro Lizar in the 76th minute of play. Gonzalo Montxo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eloy Transito having to make a save. TOTEM-HAM's Leonel Florian got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 90th minute, Casimiro Lizar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 96 minutes into the match, Perugurria's goal looked a bit too open when Leonel Florian came free, but Astor Hurko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Perugurria supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Perugurria would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
