Cayetano Dunixi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 18th minute, Miguel Ignazio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cayetano Dunixi was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ranquelcó's goalkeeper Cayetano Dunixi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Miguel Ignazio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cayetano Dunixi having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Miguel Ignazio to strike the kick off in the second half. Cayetano Dunixi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pirané FC. Ranquelcó's defense didn't have a chance, in the 92nd minute, when Miguel Ignazio scored to the left of an out of position Cayetano Dunixi, making the score, 0-4. The Pirané FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Pirané FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
