Lipeo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cipriano Matxin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Great Footballers S.A.'s zone, Eustaquio Goito stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Conrado Dei came out of the goal and Eustaquio Goito tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Miguel Orzaize kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Zeledon Figueroa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eleuterio Indartsu in the 20th minute of play. Great Footballers S.A. were awarded a corner in the 21th minute after Lipeo's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Victorino Silban took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Victorino Silban got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Zeledon Figueroa quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. A collision led to Lipeo getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Benjamin Txeru hit a great ball. If Eustaquio Goito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Cipriano Matxin came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Great Footballers S.A. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cipriano Matxin couldn't finish the play. Cipriano Matxin succeeded in the game's 38th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alfonso Brun during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Great Footballers S.A.'s Alfonso Brun got a free kick in the 43rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eustaquio Goito got free with Conrado Dei in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eleuterio Indartsu in the 48th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zeledon Figueroa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Zeledon Figueroa made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Cipriano Matxin sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Lipeo getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Miguel Orzaize hit a great ball. Cipriano Matxin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Zeledon Figueroa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Astor Errapel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Lipeo's Ildefonso Inguma got a free kick in the 85th minute. Zeledon Figueroa was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Victorino Silban. After 91 played minutes Great Footballers S.A. got a freekick which was hit by Prudencio Burutzagi. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Great Footballers S.A. eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
