After a rather tough play, Lipeo's Honorio Nastasio got a free kick in the 18th minute. If Benjamin Txeru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 32nd minute, Cipriano Matxin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 37thth minute of the game Cipriano Matxin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lipeo's Zeledon Figueroa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 37 minutes, Cipriano Matxin made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Lipeo's Zeledon Figueroa tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 40th match minute, Great Footballers S.A. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Prudencio Burutzagi to maneuver through the defense. Lipeo's Eustaquio Goito got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 45th minute, Great Footballers S.A.'s Cipriano Matxin dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Benjamin Txeru to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cipriano Matxin in the 52nd minute of play forced Lipeo's goalkeeper Zeledon Figueroa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 53 minutes into the match, Eustaquio Goito notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Great Footballers S.A.'s Conrado Dei. Conrado Dei was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Eustaquio Goito could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Conrado Dei made a huge save. If Astor Errapel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lipeo's Zeledon Figueroa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cipriano Matxin in the 76th minute of play. Conrado Dei came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Lipeo's Eustaquio Goito. But to his dismay, Eustaquio Goito quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-3. Cipriano Matxin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Zeledon Figueroa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Conrado Dei showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miguel Orzaize in the 85th minute of the match. Conrado Dei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benjamin Txeru, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Benjamin Txeru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zeledon Figueroa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cipriano Matxin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
