If Anselmo Nevada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Patrik Sjöberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcos Berdoi in the 28th minute of play. Patrik Sjöberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcos Berdoi in the 30th minute of the match. After 30 minutes of play, Club Atlético Atlanta's Marcos Berdoi made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcos Berdoi's late challenge caught a Lobo Norte's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marcos Berdoi helped the player get up and apologised. After 40 played minutes Club Atlético Atlanta got a freekick which was hit by Marcos Berdoi. Marcos Berdoi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patrik Sjöberg having to interfere. 45 minutes into the game, Club Atlético Atlanta's Şevket Çağa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Patrik Sjöberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sixten Stigsson to make the kick off. After 50 minutes of play Club Atlético Atlanta's Remigio Erramu was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, Club Atlético Atlanta's Remigio Erramu got a free kick in the 51st minute. 59 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Atlanta's Anselmo Nevada sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Patrik Sjöberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Lobo Norte getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Omar Birila hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Anselmo Nevada's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Patrik Sjöberg was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. Şevket Çağa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lobo Norte's Patrik Sjöberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Lobo Norte from getting a goal against them. Club Atlético Atlanta played a much better game than Lobo Norte and deserved their victory. The Lobo Norte players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
