Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) DEPORTIVO MERLO's Silverio Fertus started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 6th minute Conrado Dodorol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leopoldo Salvino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Sunchales's Ismael Silvino got a free kick in the 7th minute. Gavino Santos's late challenge caught a DEPORTIVO MERLO's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Natalio Chap breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Jorge Richie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Emiliano Porfirio made a kick off. Natalio Chap made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emiliano Porfirio in the 65th minute of play. Natalio Chap showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge Richie in the 68th minute of the match. Emiliano Porfirio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Natalio Chap read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. Emiliano Porfirio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 75 minutes into the game, Emiliano Porfirio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Natalio Chap was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Sunchales fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. If Jorge Richie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. Siro Eriz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Natalio Chap took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorge Richie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
