The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Alex Landfred made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hilario Mitxel in the 5th minute of play. Alex Landfred showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ignacio Theobald, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. FERRO SALTA's Alex Landfred played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ignacio Theobald in the 9th minute of play. A well-hit corner resulted in Benny Van Dijk heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. 11 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when TANGO's Carlos Ceandro fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. When Severino Hug came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the TANGO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Severino Hug couldn't finish the play. Alex Landfred showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ignacio Theobald in the 25th minute of the match. Ermegildo Goito charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ermegildo Goito the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to FERRO SALTA getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Ermegildo Goito hit a great ball. Alex Landfred took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hilario Mitxel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hilario Mitxel in the 33rd minute of play forced FERRO SALTA's goalkeeper Alex Landfred to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 37th minute Hilario Mitxel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alex Landfred saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 43 minutes into the game, Ignacio Theobald cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Alex Landfred was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. FERRO SALTA's Teobaldo Gonzalez was substituted for Modesto Neron. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Anier Paskal to make the kick off. The TANGO fans' excitement grew in the 55th match minute when TANGO's Hilario Mitxel looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Ignacio Theobald had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 62nd minute, 乔旭阳 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 62 minutes, Teobaldo Gonzalez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FERRO SALTA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teobaldo Gonzalez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hilario Mitxel who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 64thth minute tested the skills of Alex Landfred when he managed to save the team from getting behind. FERRO SALTA's players were relieved. 66 minutes into the game, Hilario Mitxel lined in a short shot 0-3 behind a frustrated Alex Landfred. In the 74th minute, TANGO's Hilario Mitxel ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Alex Landfred. Alex Landfred yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. Hilario Mitxel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 79 minutes into the match, FERRO SALTA's goal looked a bit too open when Ignacio Theobald came free, but Alex Landfred reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alex Landfred made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hilario Mitxel in the 81st minute. In the 85th minute there was a penalty for FERRO SALTA. Teobaldo Gonzalez stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Gavino Veronica. 1-5. 90 minutes into the match, Ignacio Theobald notched a goal, 1-6, to the right of FERRO SALTA's Alex Landfred. Alex Landfred was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Severino Hug kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anier Paskal in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gavino Veronica saved TANGO from getting behind. Emanuel Gartzi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 97 minutes into the match, Hilario Mitxel notched a goal, 1-7, to the right of FERRO SALTA's Alex Landfred. Alex Landfred was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. TANGO played a much better game than FERRO SALTA and deserved their victory. The FERRO SALTA players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
