In the 15thth minute of the game Cesar Garcia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FERRO SALTA's Dario Rumaldo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dario Rumaldo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elvio Eneko in the 16th minute of play. After 16 minutes, Teobaldo Gonzalez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FERRO SALTA and the MONCHOSFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, FERRO SALTA's Teobaldo Gonzalez got a free kick in the 17th minute. Casimiro Txomin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dario Rumaldo having to make a save. 20 minutes into the game, MONCHOSFC's Elvio Eneko nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dario Rumaldo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 24 minutes into the match, Elvio Eneko had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dario Rumaldo. FERRO SALTA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Elvio Eneko was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. If Cesar Garcia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The MONCHOSFC fans' excitement grew in the 44th match minute when MONCHOSFC's Elvio Eneko looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.

The wind increased when Elvio Eneko made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Cesar Garcia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dario Rumaldo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. After 54 minutes, Anacleto Admon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FERRO SALTA and the MONCHOSFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 55th match minute, FERRO SALTA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anacleto Admon to maneuver through the defense. Dario Rumaldo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cesar Garcia in the 61st minute of play. 62 minutes into the game, Cesar Garcia cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-5. Dario Rumaldo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Oscar Ekhi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anier Paskal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lucio Lando's late challenge caught a MONCHOSFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lucio Lando helped the player get up and apologised. MONCHOSFC made a substitution. Cipriano Rik replaced Casimiro Txomin. The referee felt a red card was in order, 74 minutes into the game, when David Birjaio put in a rough tackle. FERRO SALTA's Hermengildo Quirce was substituted for Anier Paskal. After 74 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for FERRO SALTA! Elvio Eneko shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Dario Rumaldo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Elvio Eneko in the 82nd minute. Elvio Eneko's shot straight on target was not completely harmless.
