The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Necip Veziroğlu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dario Abreu's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Misael in the 10th minute of play forced Nirihau's goalkeeper Necip Veziroğlu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 12 minutes into the match, Nirihau's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Misael came free, but Necip Veziroğlu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 13 minutes into the game, RIO TALA's Luis Misael nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Necip Veziroğlu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 19th minute, Cipriano Jakobe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Necip Veziroğlu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dario Abreu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dario Abreu scored 0-2 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Necip Veziroğlu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 25 minutes into the match, Nirihau's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Misael came free, but Necip Veziroğlu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Necip Veziroğlu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Misael in the 29th minute of the match. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 43 minutes into the match, Dario Abreu notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Nirihau's Necip Veziroğlu. Necip Veziroğlu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience was convinced that Dario Abreu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Necip Veziroğlu was relentless in the 47th minute of the game. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The wind increased when Luis Misael made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute of the match RIO TALA got a corner. Nirihau's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Alvaro Rayman ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to RIO TALA's Dario Abreu getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dario Abreu in the 55th minute of play forced Nirihau's goalkeeper Necip Veziroğlu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 58th match minute, RIO TALA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rolando Ikatz to maneuver through the defense. Tadeo Jurgi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Ambrosio Merexildo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. RIO TALA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pablo Kauldi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. RIO TALA's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
