Doyle Forrest had in the 38thth minute some difficulties stopping Fernando Vela's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After having played for 40 minutes, Fernando Vela managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pink Floyd's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fernando Vela was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bonifacio Asteri to strike the kick off in the second half. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. If Marcial Fero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Pink Floyd getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Ovidio Lastur hit a great ball. Denis Brun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 84th minute, Pink Floyd's Cristobal Lizer dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fernando Vela in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Doyle Forrest prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the final whistle sounded Pink Floyd left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Equipo Abandonado.
