An unexpectedly hard shot by Ted Korevaar in the 5th minute of play forced kvn rosario's goalkeeper Delmiro Lapurdi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Tifon Azul's Teobald Sokol got a free kick in the 6th minute. When the match had gone on for 7 minutes, Laércio Pontes took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Luis Ospin to make any attempt to save it. Luis Ospin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Laércio Pontes in the 15th minute. When Victor Guillerme came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the kvn rosario fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Victor Guillerme couldn't finish the play. Laércio Pontes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luis Ospin having to interfere. Luis Ospin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Victor Guillerme in the 22nd minute. 23 minutes into the match, Laércio Pontes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luis Ospin. Tifon Azul's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Laércio Pontes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. 27 minutes into the game, Victor Guillerme recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Luis Ospin. Victor Guillerme showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. With an all-out effort, kvn rosario's Luis Ospin threw himself towards the right post 31 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Victor Guillerme, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. kvn rosario's Delmiro Lapurdi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ted Korevaar in the 37th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ni Chao Han during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 45th minute Ted Korevaar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Delmiro Lapurdi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Laércio Pontes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After recieving a nice pass, kvn rosario's Fabian Vargas tried to score from far away in the 65th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. kvn rosario's Delmiro Lapurdi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teobald Sokol in the 73rd minute of play. After 78 played minutes, kvn rosario's Fabian Vargas shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Luis Ospin came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in kvn rosario reached it. After a rather tough play, Tifon Azul's Teobald Sokol got a free kick in the 80th minute. Ni Chao Han fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luis Ospin having to interfere. Laércio Pontes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Luis Ospin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Laércio Pontes in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luis Ospin saved Tifon Azul from getting behind. Ted Korevaar hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. If Fabian Vargas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, kvn rosario's Ngo Bel got a free kick in the 95th minute. When the referee ended the match the kvn rosario players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
