The audience was convinced that Victorino Frasco's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luis Ospin was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. Caminiaga's Hemming Tjørnum played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ted Korevaar in the 64th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Tifon Azul's Eustacio Elia got a free kick in the 65th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Delmar Nesto during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to C.A. Caminiaga getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Delmar Nesto hit a great ball. With a little luck, Tifon Azul's Luis Ospin got control of the ball when Victorino Frasco tried to sneak it across the goal line. Caminiaga's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
