In the 17th minute Laureano Cuarto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geovanni Magalhães saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Astor Cresenciano charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Astor Cresenciano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Equipo Abandonado getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Astor Cresenciano hit a great ball. In the 27th minute Jaime Francho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geovanni Magalhães saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Armando Bizi charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Armando Bizi got his second yellow card in the match during the 36th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Armando Bizi kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. In the 44th match minute, Abofeteame la Burra F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramon Salvator to maneuver through the defense. Bonifacio Asteri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 47 minutes into the match, Equipo Abandonado's goalkeeper Doyle Forrest had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Omar Frisco. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Saul Polentzi to strike the kick off in the second half. Doyle Forrest showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saul Polentzi in the 60th minute of the match. Abofeteame la Burra F.C.'s Saul Polentzi got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Omar Frisco fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Abofeteame la Burra F.C.'s protests and gave Omar Frisco a yellow card for diving instead. After 68 played minutes Abofeteame la Burra F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Omar Frisco. In the 69th minute, Bonifacio Asteri left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Equipo Abandonado fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. Jaime Francho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Geovanni Magalhães tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 80 played minutes Jaime Francho rounded Abofeteame la Burra F.C.'s defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-4. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Froilan Seme during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Froilan Seme kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Equipo Abandonado's Doyle Forrest played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saul Polentzi in the 87th minute of play. 89 minutes into the match, Bonifacio Asteri had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Geovanni Magalhães. Abofeteame la Burra F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bonifacio Asteri was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-5. Doyle Forrest showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaston Rioja, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. In the 96th minute Abofeteame la Burra F.C. were awarded a corner. Octavio Nerio went to the cornerflag to take it. The Abofeteame la Burra F.C. fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Equipo Abandonado were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
